Warranty and Limitations

For products purchase after October 31, 2022:

This warranty extends only to the original purchaser. This warranty is void Silhouette Lights ceases to sell or service the product.

Aside from the exceptions noted below, Silhouette Lights warrants that our landscape lighting products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for five (5) years from the date of purchase by the Original Purchaser.  The exceptions are: 

  1. Powder-coated finishes are warranted for five (5) years. 
  2. Low voltage landscape lighting fixtures made with no powder coating such as copper and brass housings do naturally patina in color which is not a defect. 

Transformers, Controls & Light Bulbs

  1. Transformers limited five (5) years.   
  2. Timers and photocells are limited to one (1) year warranty
  3. Light Bulbs are limited to one (1) year warranty

  1. Powder-coated finishes are warranted for three (3) years.

Transformers, Controls & Light Bulbs

  1. Transformers limited three (3) years.

Warranty Product Return

  1. The original sticker must be in place or the warranty is void.
  2. To pre-arrange return, email support@silhouettelights.com.  
  3. To replace a Product that has a warranted defect, it will be necessary for the Original Purchaser to send the product prepaid shipping to Silhouette.
  4. The following must be included with the product:
    • copy of the original invoice
    • purchaser’s name
    • return address
    • description of the claimed product defect. 

Warranty Procedure

  1. Silhouette will, at its discretion, repair or replace the product once it is determined that the product is defective and will return the repaired or replaced product prepaid to the purchaser.  The product that is deemed to be not defective as described shall be returned as-is to the original purchaser collect shipping.
  2. The parties hereto expressly agree that the original purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy against Silhouette Lights Ltd shall be for the repair, replacement, or refund of defective products as provided herein. This warranty is not transferable whether to heirs, subsequent owners, or otherwise.  This warranty does not cover labor or other costs or expenses to remove or reinstall any defective, repaired or replaced product.
  3. This warranty does not apply to any Products that have been subjected to misuse, mishandling, misapplication, the connected voltage at more than 5% above stated operating voltage, unusual use (“normal use” means building interior use in an environment that does not exceed 25 degrees Celsius or outdoor use where the ambient temperature does not exceed 35 degrees Celsius), neglect (including but not limited to improper maintenance), accident, improper installation, improper packaging of products returned to Silhouette, modification (including but not limited to use of unauthorized parts or attachments), or adjustment or repair.  Electrical items may not be returned after use that is not defective.

THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING THOSE OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR INFRINGEMENT.  ORIGINAL PURCHASER SHALL IN NO EVENT BE ENTITLED TO, AND SILHOUETTE LIGHTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TO LOSS OF PROFIT, PROMOTIONAL AND/OR MANUFACTURING EXPENSES, OVERHEAD, INJURY TO REPUTATION AND/OR LOSS OF CUSTOMERS.

Do you offer in-store pickup?

In-Store Pickup

In-store and curbside pickup is available for all on-line purchases. Pickups are available Monday to Friday 8am to 3:30pm PST.

What are my shipping options?

We offer various shipping options. In some cases a third-party supplier may be managing our inventory and will be responsible for shipping your products.
